Example of Duties:
This position involves frequent verbal, written, and email correspondence with current students, media outlets, opposing SIDs, faculty and staff. The successful candidate will:
- Provide game day coverage for assigned sports during home events.
- Co-direct the daily management and marketing of the Adrian College Athletic Department.
- Design and produce graphic design materials for athletic department publications, websites, and social media platforms.
- Design and produce game programs, press releases, infographics, record books, and marketing fliers.
- Design, edit, and maintain the Adrian College Athletic Department website using graphic design, written, and photographic material.
- Supervise and train student-employees in sports information-related graphic design and marketing tasks.
- Design and produce graphic content through Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Assist in record keeping, statistical archives, and athletic Hall of Fame.
- Provide in-game stats using NCAA Genius Live Stats and Presto Stats.
- Manage and assist in game scheduling, department budgeting, and other administrative duties.
- Attend regular administrative, staff, marketing/PR meetings, conference, and NCAA meetings.
- Serve as secondary media and statistical liaison to Athletic Department
- Travel to conference tournament and national tournament contests
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with departmental/College/NCAA Division III rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by SID or Athletic Director

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous sports information/athletic communications/graphic design experience
- Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand for long periods of time. Must be able to manage press box/row during game days.

Desired Qualifications:
Previous sports information or athletic communications, and graphic design experience required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently, has excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and will be someone who is able to interpret, apply and comply with all NCAA Division III and MIAA rules and regulations.
