The Cleveland State Athletic Communications department is seeking one graduate assistant for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years. The position allows for the selected candidate to gain hands-on experience in the intercollegiate athletics industry while assisting Cleveland State in all facets of athletic communications.

Responsibilities will consist of assisting in all aspects with athletics communications including, but not limited to
- Serve as primary media contact for women’s soccer, swimming & diving, cross country / track & field and men’s tennis
- Serve as secondary men’s basketball contact
- Gameday responsibilities for men’s basketball and/or women’s basketball
- Maintain team information and content on website
- Produce publications, including media guides, game programs, etc.
- Assist with social media and content creation and management

Qualifications
- Contingent on admission into Cleveland State Graduate School and the completion of a successful background check
- Candidates must be enrolled full time
- Experience in a collegiate athletics communications office or similar sports communications background
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, initiative and professionalism
- Ability and willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holiday breaks
- Genius stats experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience
