Tufts University, an NCAA Division III member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) located in Medford, Mass., is seeking qualified applicants for a Sports Information Intern position. The position is a 9-month appointment (August 31-May 31). Responsibilities: The intern’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting the Director of Athletic Communications in promoting and publicizing all of the university’s 30 varsity sports. Serve as the primary contact for assigned sports. This work involves scoring games with statistical software, writing press releases, updating social media, updating the Athletics website using SideArmSports software and other duties as assigned. Weekend and night work required.
