Brief Description of Duties:The Athletic Communications Assistant is responsible for the overall communication of athletic department news, intercollegiate contest results, team/department accomplishments and all other athletic department related information by initiating and cultivating relationships with local, regional, and national print and electronic media outlets to increase public awareness of his/her assigned sports programs.  The assistant is independently responsible for the game management & multi-media efforts (department website; television shows; play by play or color commentary duties for radio broadcasts; coordination of webcasting/video-streaming of intercollegiate contests) as well as the creation and production of pres
