Wofford College is accepting applications for two athletic communications internships for the 2026-27 academic year.
The athletics communications candidates will assist in all daily operations of the Athletic Communications Department and will be responsible for working as the primary media contact for at least three sports, including women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and others. The individuals will also assist with game-day duties at all other sports. Strong writing and communications skills, along with a working knowledge of Statcrew, NCAA LiveStats, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media in a PC environment required. Experience with SIDEARM websites is helpful, as is social media graphics and video.
A bachelor’s degree and prior experience of at least one year in a sports information/athletic media relations office is required. Evening and weekend hours are required in this position.
