Intercollegiate Athletics is offering a graduate assistantship beginning Summer/Fall 2025, to a person holding a bachelor’s degree who wishes to professionalize her/his communications and content creation experience. The successful applicant will work with the Athletic Communications staff to manage dynamic and creative graphic design content for social media, website and marketing strategies; and support communications staff with daily, weekly and seasonal on-brand content to promote Ball State teams, coaches and student-athletes. This position may also assume communications/sports information responsibility for one sport. The applicant must make a strong commitment to, and have a responsibility for, adhering to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American Conference and the NCAA.
The successful applicant must be admitted to the Graduate School and is expected to apply to a master’s program. In addition, the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate prior communications (sports information), content and graphics design experience in college athletics, with specific proficiency in Adobe software applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; and Canva.
Tuition remission and a yearly stipend will be provided.
