This is a new position that will grow the current staff from two fulltime employees and a GA to three. The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary media relations contact for assigned sports and to assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics Communications and other members of the athletic communications staff with preparation and dissemination of information to the University community and to local and state media; promote and publicize sports-related stories and events.  Essential job duties include: 1.
