Description of Position: Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, serve as primary media contact for assigned Red Storm teams. Prepare press releases, produce media guides and record statistics. Assist in the publicity of all 17 Red Storm varsity sports. Supervise student assistants for game operations at home events, including men’s and women’s basketball games at Carnesecca Arena and Madison Square Garden.  Foster relationships with members of the New York and national media. Oversee media credentialing process. Coordinate and publish written and photographic content for the University’s official athletics
