The Sports Information Assistant supports and guides day-to-day sports information communications within Elmira College Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a statistical database of all college-sponsored sports, recording and coordinating contest statistics, reporting scores, and writing various stories, and feature stories. This position maintains the website (athletics.elmira.edu), video streaming, live statistics, photography, video production, and production of graphics. The assistant oversees and provides content for social media accounts. He or she assists in hiring, training, and oversight of student-worker staff.
