The Graduate assistant for Athletic Communications will assist the Coordinator of Sports Information and the Coordinator of Media Relations/Marketing with publicity efforts for the University’s 14-sport athletic program. The selected candidate will be the primary communications contact for several team sports, and other sport coverage as assigned. Primary responsibilities will include: updating and managing the college's athletic website (gostatesmen.com); writing game and event recaps; assisting in design of athletic graphics and social media efforts; compiling team statistics and records; compiling in-game statistics; reporting results to local, regional, and hometown media; monitoring and providing social media content and assisting with game operations.
