Florida Tech, an NCAA Division II institution with 15 varsity sports competing in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), is searching for a Director of Athletic Communications. The Director of Athletic Communications is responsible for formulating, implementing and managing the public relations strategy for the publicity and promotion of Florida Tech's 15 varsity athletic teams. Responsibilities Oversee the public relations strategy for Florida Tech’s 15 varsity sports programs through the use of daily press releases, website content, and social media as well as through the nomination of scholar-athletes, coaches and teams for weekly, preseason and postseason athletic and academic awards.  Manage in-game athletic communications tasks performed by game person
