Assistant Director of Strategic Communications Hampton University is seeking an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications to assist in publicizing the University’s athletics program. The Assistant Director of Strategic Communications will manage media relations for assigned sports, coordinating media coverage for athletic events, keep accurate statistics utilizing Genius software, write press releases, poste on the department’s website, and social media outlets. This position will assist the assistant director of athletics for strategic communications and the director of strategic communications with day-to-day operation of the office. Additionally, the assistant director will be expected to contribute to department priorities, meetings, and committees.
