The Associate Director of Recreation & Wellness is responsible for the comprehensive operations of designated programs that include intramurals, club sports, and adventures. The Associate Director is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, scheduling, budgeting, policy development, marketing, staff development, disciplining, and student training for these programs. Other responsibilities include supervising some evening and weekend programs, as well as some special events. The Associate serves as one of the representatives from Recreation & Wellness for University Admissions events, serves on university committees deemed appropriate, and will act as the department lead in the Director’s absence.
