Faulkner University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Sports Information Specialist for the Athletics division. The selected individual will be responsible for helping to cultivate a system by which all Faulkner University athletic programs will receive thorough coverage of all home and road events via statistical data entry, photography, live stream broadcasts, social media updates and postgame recaps on athletics website. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
Responsible for maintenance of Faulkner athletics website
Oversee coordination of team statistics
Coordinate game day media and broadcast services
Responsible for formulating strategies for printed promotional materials (posters, cards, publications, etc.)
Assist in coordinating external media coverage and promotion of events
Provide detailed and skill development opportunities to Faulkner Sports Network students
Evening and weekend hours may be required
Occasional travel may be required

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Two years of related experience required
Experience with DakStats, Presto or related software preferred
Experience in writing using AP style format preferred
