Atlantic Hockey Association/College Hockey America Digital Media Manager
The Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America are seeking qualified candidates for a Digital Media Manager position that will manage all aspects of social media and content creation and assist with media relations operations for Atlantic Hockey and College Hockey America.
Duties
Reporting to the Associate Commissioner for Media Relations and Operations, this position will serve as the graphic design and video lead for Atlantic Hockey and College Hockey America. Position will manage social media efforts across all platforms for both leagues, assist with production of press releases and postseason tournament operations for both leagues along with other duties as assigned.
Evening and weekend work will be required.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
Expertise in managing social media plans and creating graphics and video for social media purposes.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, website and video editing software.
Undergraduate experience working in a college athletics department or conference office.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple departments.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Term
The position term will run from August 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024. This position is open to remote work and will travel to both the Atlantic Hockey and College Hockey America postseason tournaments if needed.
Stipend
$2,000 per month.

The 10-team NCAA Division I conference consists of, American International College (Yellow Jackets), Bentley University (Falcons), Canisius College (Golden Griffins), The College of the Holy Cross (Crusaders), Mercyhurst University (Lakers), Niagara University (Purple Eagles), Rochester Institute of Technology (Tigers), Sacred Heart University (Pioneers), the United States Air Force Academy (Falcons) and the United States Military Academy (Black Knights).
