The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics department encourages applications for an Associate Director of Communications! Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Communications, this position will develop and implement strategies within the Athletic Communications office on behalf of the University of Colorado Boulder Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Working with football as a secondary contact, the Associate Director will also lead with at least one other sport as the primary point of contact. This position will ensure all communication strategies and execution fit within the broader context of the department, University, conference and NCAA goals and compliance requirements. Additionally, this position will promote a positive social media presence through a variety of digital media platforms and assist with social strategy, execution, and content creation on all official platforms, as well as have a role within sport assignments in the area of content planning and execution, media relations, social media, gameday management and archiving while assisting with all 17 intercollegiate sports.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac 12 Conference and the NCAA.
