Muskingum University invites applications for two Graduate Assistants in Athletic Communications. These positions assist the Assistant Athletic Director with all facets of the Athletic Communications Office. The positions include room/board, monthly stipend, and graduate school tuition remission.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in day-to-day operations of the Athletic Communications Office, including serving as the primary contact for assigned sports.
Create and publish digital content for assigned sports, including written, photo, and video content.
Help manage Muskingum’s athletic social media platforms.
Supervise gameday statistical and video operations for home events.
Update content, such as bios, rosters, schedules, statistics, press releases, articles, etc., on the University athletics webpage.
Work with student-athletes, coaches, and administrators on the distribution of content.
Maintain statistical and historical data.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience in a sports information or athletic communications office.
Working knowledge of stat programs (StatCrew, Presto Sports, NCAA Live Stats).
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Premiere Pro).

Undergraduate degree.
Acceptance or ability to be accepted into Muskingum University Graduate Program.
Ability to follow the NCAA Division III philosophy and OAC and Muskingum guidelines.
Ability to collaborate and participate as an active member of the athletic department and the University community.
