Anderson University (IN) seeks qualified applicants for the position of graduate assistant in the area of Sports Information for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The GA will assist the Sports Information Director in all facets of AUs Sports Information Office, which includes:

• publicizing Anderson's 20 varsity sports through oversight and maintenance of the athletics website;
• creating social media graphics and contributing to the operation of the AU Athletics social media accounts
• developing media & game programs, press releases and supporting materials;
• compiling and distributing statistics and maintaining statistical archives;
• managing score table and press box areas;
• oversight of an intern/student support staff, photography, social media and media relations.

Assisting with the day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.

And other tasks as necessary and assigned.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree; previous collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred
• Commitment to University mission and Christian lifestyle
• Admittance to program-authorized Master's* program at Anderson University
• Complete and pass required background check
• The graduate assistant must meet University lifestyle expectations, GPA requirements and work responsibilities to be reappointed for the next academic year.
• 10-month work period: August through May.
• 20 hours per week
• 2-year Graduate Assistant program Expectation
