The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and producing video content and digital media for the Department of Athletics and will report to the Assistant AD for Athletics Communications. The ideal candidate will be flexible, enjoy working with various sports and activities, and represent the University and the Athletic Department in a highly professional manner. Candidates must be accepted and enrolled in a Rogers State Master’s Degree program.
Primary Duties:
Manage the athletics department’s daily digital media initiatives.
Oversee all aspects of live video streaming production (including cameras, graphics, audio, talent, etc.).
Produce, shoot, and edit video content (promotional sports, interviews, highlight packages, features, etc.) to promote Rogers State Athletics
Create graphic packages and templates.
Collaborate with external relations and communication to create an all-encompassing digital media strategy, including website, social media, video, and mobile
Monitor current trends in digital and social media and identify best practices
Secondary Duties:
Archiving photography.
Candidate will need to be available to travel with teams and work nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in communications, graphic design, journalism or a related area of study.
Compensation: Compensation includes tuition/fees, dorm room, and a 9-month stipend.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient writing skills as well as Adobe Creative Suite and web publishing.
