Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Sports Information Graduate Assistant.

Primary Job Duties: 

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the Sports Information Office, including serving as the primary contact for one sport per athletic season
• Assist with social media and video content creation, including a live video stream.
• Supervise gameday statistical and video operations for home events
• Press release and feature writing
• Website, statistical and historical data maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a sports information or athletic communications office
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Premiere Pro)
• Knowledge of stat programs (StatCrew, Presto Sports, NCAA Live Stats)
• Must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

This is a two-year assistantship with a start date of early August 2023. The successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend and tuition remission of up to nine credits per fall and spring semesters. There is a possibility of a campus meal plan benefit, dependent on funding. Applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
