The Associate Director of Athletics for Strategic Communications will direct, plan, and implement communications, media relations, and publicity for Pacific Athletics. They will present in a consistent and favorable manner to a wide-ranging audience the achievements of the athletics program primarily by maintaining a readily accessible, accurate, and useful news and information service. They will manage the development, organization, and distribution of all informational materials for the entire intercollegiate athletics program inclusive of internet properties, print, broadcasts, and other mediums of communication. They will establish a presence as the primary news source for Pacific Athletics’ fans through the effective use of the website, mobile app, and social media.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Six (6) years of experience in athletics communications, media relations, journalism, or a related field.
