Job Summary: Under general direction, assists with statistics, publications, press releases, website, media and public relations, and ESPN+ streaming for specified sports; maintains compliance with NCAA, Atlantic 10, and University rules and regulations; and performs other duties as assigned.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include any and/or all of the following:
- Provides direct sports information to support several athletics programs; writes and edits press releases, features, blogs, etc.
- Updates records and statistics for assigned sports, as required by conference and NCAA deadlines; meets internal and external deadlines for publications, as well as student-athlete and coach special recognition opportunities.
- Creates and manages web content including but not limited to online publications, video content, and social media; maintains professional relationships with the media, both at events and through regular correspondence.
- Assists game-day event management support for assigned sports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of statistical programs including NCAA LiveStats and StatCrew
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience equivalent to:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field; supplemented with five (5) years of related experience preferred with a collegiate or professional organization.
