Saint Francis University, a Division I member of the Northeast Conference, invites applications for graduate assistants in Athletic Communications and Creative Video and Athletic Broadcasts. There are three positions available to start in the fall of 2023 with another opening to start in January 2024.
Athletic Communications Graduate Assistants will report to the Associate Director of Athletics for Communications and serves as the primary contact for several sports and serve as a secondary contact for one of the following sports: football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball. The position will also assist with social media content for the athletic department, staff home events, identify potential feature content, produce record books, game notes/programs and news releases and serve as a liaison to the media.
Creative Video and Athletic Broadcasts Graduate Assistants will report to the Director of Creative Video and Athletic Broadcasts and will capture game footage, cut and edit clips for use in highlight videos, shoot and edit team interviews, assist with web-streaming events and game-day productions and follows Saint Francis University and Northeast Conference athletics production requirements and guidelines.
A bachelor’s degree in communications or related areas. Must me accepted into a full-time graduate studies program at Saint Francis University. Previous experience in collegiate athletics communications, Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign/Photoshop/Final Cut Pro), Stat Crew, NCAA Genius Live Stats, web streaming/video equipment, Daktronics Displays (LED scorer’s table/message center), graphic/publication design, video editing and shooting experience, and strong written and verbal communications skills are preferred.
